Sire and Dam of Merit
In June 2024 (effective from 1 January 2025) Dogs Australia introduced a new title namely: Sire and Dam of Merit.
To achieve the title of Sire of Merit (SOM) - A dog must have produced at least ten (10) Conformation Champion
offspring.
To achieve the title of Dam of Merit (DOM) - A bitch must have produced at least five (5) Conformation Champion
offspring.
At least 1 of the conformation Champion titles (all conformation titles are included) must have
been awarded after the implementation date 1 January 2025.
